I think that Project Nepal has been a life-changing experience because you get to view the world from a different perspective. I highly recommend this experience because you will learn so many things and have so much fun.

I never knew how much I would read and connect with my friends without any screens. I realise how much of a distraction screens are. Project Nepal also showed me how privileged I am compared to the students we helped in Nepal.

During my time in Nepal, I was surprised by how well I was able to adapt to a new culture. The local customs, and language were all new to me, but I found that I was able to embrace them with ease.

I think that the experience in Nepal has made me more open-minded about the differences in life conditions across the world. This is because while we were building the school, we could see how the life conditions of the local people were not great. We saw men and children working at brick factories all day long, and the women would working at home and taking care of the family. This has made me much more open-minded and grateful for everything that I have.

Project Nepal was just a fantastic experience and I’m really happy to have being part of it. The Nepalese kids will be using the new buildings as their classrooms, and I am happy to have been a part of building their new school. Between the trek and the project, I would have to say the trek was my favourite part, however, both the project work and the trek were some of the best experiences that I’ve ever had in my life.

I think that the Nepal trip has improved me physically and mentally. I think it has improved me mentally because it helped me become more independent and I proved to myself that I could live without help. It also improved me mentally because it showed me another culture and it taught me another way to live.
